AI will help you bring your ideas to life without spending a fortune.
AI taught me to code in 9 days and here’s the website I built: vncra.com.
I’ll break down exactly how I pulled this off… and reveal the 4 dumbest things AI does, plus how to avoid them.
I spent ten hours a day grinding through a programming course. Whenever I didn’t understand something, AI had my back. It explained everything in simple language and broke down what each line of code meant. After four days I had finished the entire course. And within 9 days I built my own website.
A programmer friend told me this site would have cost between €10,000 and €20,000 to build. He then showed me a job posting requiring these exact skills, offering $4,000 a month.
Of course things went wrong. Constantly. I was a beginner, so after a full day of coding I’d end up yelling at GPT. Here’s a screenshot. We’re living in insane times. Before, I would’ve had to spend a fortune on teachers. Now I get it for free.
But AI is still dumb as hell. AI deletes random code. It changes things you spent hours or even days building. And it never warns you. It just says sorry and then does it again and again and again. If you are not careful, your whole project is gone.
Most of the time I could already see the mistakes coming, I asked, “Am I right that this will break?” and it said no. Then after doing everything exactly the way AI told me, it suddenly admitted my way was actually correct. If you don't know how code works, you will never escape that mess.
That’s why I worked in baby steps, testing every piece of code separately and double-checking after each change to make sure nothing broke. And never ask AI for something too complex. You’ve got to break the puzzle apart yourself, then let AI handle the small chunks.
The lesson is simple: never let AI do your thinking. Once you stop thinking for yourself, you will forget how to think at all. If you do not use it, you lose it.
And because coding is so hard even for AI, I had to restart the whole chat again and again. Eventually GPT just froze. Literally after every question. So every new chat started with me re-explaining my whole setup.
I could not have done this without AI. Just like mathematicians use a calculator. Fun fact: when calculators first came out, math teachers actually went on strike. In the end, it only removed the repetitive work and left humans to do the real thinking.
AI is powerless without humans. I am not afraid, and neither should you be. Name one groundbreaking invention AI made by itself. Exactly. Zero. If a human had even one-millionth of AI’s knowledge, we would already have ten thousand world-changing inventions. Humans are superior. Period.
Still, it surprises me that even now, with infinite personal assistants at their fingertips, most people do nothing. That is why action is the most valuable thing in today’s world.
So what are you waiting for? Got a creative idea? AI can bring it to life. Act on it.
And one last thing. Coding has become a real passion for me. If you want a website that doesn’t look like every other template out there, email me.
